MY PROCESS

Check out my process! Below you will find examples of how I approach creative challenges. I enjoy research, creating moodboards, and lots and lots of sketching. All aspects help me to develop creative design solutions.

Loganberry Books

Loganberry Books is an antique bookshop located in the Larchmere Village of Cleveland, OH. The independently owned and operated bookstore features carefully selected new, used and rare books. Some of the many strengths of the shop’s collection includes its leather bound and modern first editions. The following creative process outlines my approach to the company’s new identity.

arvia

There are a variety of dangers vacation beach goers face that they know little about. Users are able to search for destinations, receive up-to-date alerts, as well as an Augmented Reality option of any beach. Arvia provides educational information about tides, wave height, currents, high surf, and weather that impacts the beach. The following creative process explains my development for the ui/ux design.

ACTUALLY, I’M NOT FINE editorial

Actually, I’m Not Fine is an article that focuses on sporadic hemiplegic migraines, a rare and chronic neurological condition with terrifying and sometimes paralyzing symptoms that mimic a stroke. The illustration above channels the physical pain one may feel while experiencing a migraine. The following creative process shares how I developed this design solution.

Lubalin Mac & cheese

Herb Lubalin was a designer in the 1960’s responsible for the design of CBS’s lunchroom. His 3D type installation was a major influence on this set of packaging. The packaging is debossed using laser cut acrylic plates. The following creative process outlines how I was able to complete this clean and simple packaging approach.

REASON MAGAZINE

Reason: Free Minds and Free Markets is a libertarian magazine that reaches a new target audience away from the right and left wing biases. There are a variety of different topics this magazine sheds light on; in particular, this issue discusses the treatment of children in the foster care system, and how the system is corrupt. The following shares my creative process as I took on this magazine redesign.
